You would think that of all the first generation Pokmon to get a baby form, Kangaskhan would've made the most sense because it already has a baby in its pouch , but no instead we get Smoochum

Smoochum was actually pretty fun to use in a run of Crystal Clear I did once. I will say it's design does suck, though.

Read that as Kazakhstan and was confused for a second.

That would make a lot of sense, but was Kangaskhan ever a fan favorite? Dont see why not though.

I used to go looking for one all the time. I get it though but TC makes a good point. Its already got a baby so why not make it an official pokemon?

maybe when it's growing up without a baby it's not a pokemon, it's just an animal
then when it gets a baby again it's a pokemon

Baby pokemon are reserved for fan-favorite pokemon, such as Mantine or Sudowoodo or Chimecho

Yeah, it make sense and I'm not opposed to it. Just wondering if it being a less popular Pokemon was the reason it never happened.
