Apparently theirs runs thru my back yard. Told them no, they said they have an easement. I told them to get a court order.

So you want that line to rupture in your yard some day?

"I took 100 naps and we were still in the air."
The sewage company should have the easement and they definitely have a right to repair lol
Let's all please just get along.

Well you could be petty and potentially have a shit river in your yard instead, or deal with a hole in your dirt for a few days and have it refilled. I live on 10 acres, sometimes shit happens and things need to be done on my land, stretching it out with nonsense usually leads to them doing it anyway while creating headaches. Grass will grow back.
And as the people bend, The moral fabric dies, Then country can't pretend to ignore its peoples cries.

And they will so just a matter of time.

Lol "I live on 10 acres, land doesn't matter bro, it will grow back"

You sound like a wealthy person saying money isn't the solution to your problems.

Yes, with 10 acres I imagine it would be rather easy to not see a hole on your land depending on where it is compared to someone's backyard, which in cities are not very spacious.

The damage will be tearing my yard up and not fixing it. These things need court involvement.

If it's a utility running through an easement, you can't really do shit about it and I'd be surprised if you're not forced to pay for it since it's on your lot.

Easements suck. They're necessary, but damn do they suck to have a bunch of them on your lot (like I do).

They have to show a recorded easement and they would be responsible for repairs.

This is like getting in a car crash and the dude says hell fix you car at his shop. Dont trust him, call the cops and insurance.

I had my entire yard tore up to fix... Basically everyone in my neighborhoods cable lines, because apparently my yard was a Nexus of "below code" wiring.

Shit grew back in like two three weeks and doesn't look any different.

I assume sewer line would be way more in depth, but they're going to get it done regardless most likely, it'll get back to normal. Unless they have to destroy a structure or some such to fix it.
