Ridley Scott's penchant these days is cranking out the film with efficiency and not dragging over budget or anything. A businessman's director with as much as focus on profit or more so, than any artistic aspect.

Nah, he's made more good movies than bad but he's just behind on the times. The man is almost 90 years old.

Also, i hate Prometheus as an Alien film but as a sci fi film i think it could stand on its own. Despite some flaws the concept is great and its a beautifully shot movie with some great performances.

It just falls apart trying to tie into alien

I know not everyone can be the paragon of taste that I am

But I agree with others that Ridley Scott has had a very erratic career. Timeless movies mixed with misguided bombs. I am excited to see Napolean but fully expect the latter

House of Gucci was pretty good and I have yet to see Last Duel, but it did get great reviews. I expect the DC version of Napoleon to be much better. Nevertheless, I still plan on seeing Napoleon in theater.
