I'm imagining a world where fiber internet is the norm. It would be fantastic to play dead multiplayer games with people from other countries. As is you're looking at on 130 ping minimum.

I could play advanced warfare again, which currently has the biggest population in Europe.

Or I'm imagining playing on Overwatch Korean Asia servers and experiencing how they play the game.

So any geeks know how viable this is?
You could do that right now without the need of fiber

Play a fighting game with good rollback netcode vs someone across the planet

Its fucking amazing.
I think distance would still be an issue, you're always going to have lower latency to nearby areas than across the world
