They joined the US which has a history of violence against Muslims. What do they expect to happen?

Seems valid to use the one power given to you to try to encourage better policies.

I also think they might be looking at Trump as an impossibility, if hes off the ballot in more than a few states.

No, they probably don't like that Dumpy moved the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem after recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

I agree with their position and Israel is way out of hand but electorally, Biden is probably best off keeping the status quo. It sucks
