Thursday: -18C
Today: -24C
Saturday: -17C
Sunday: -12C
Monday: +2C
Tuesday: +5C

This is not normal. And up North they are passing -40C, which they havent had for over 20 years.

For those who dont know, -40C is -200F. Almost below freezing
More to do with the humidity than heat

Freeezing in celcius is below 0. -40 is quite a bit under freezing.

In the 80s and 90s?
Around -20C.
In the 2000s?
Closer to -10C.
Raising over 20 degrees in a day have never been normal.

It is not the rest of the worlds fault that one backwards nation on the planet is still using a temperature gauge that went out with the dinosaurs.

Here Irony did you know that the National Weather Service and the US Scientific community use Celsius.

It is just you citizens that are holding the US back because "we don't like change"! But as you can see every other country on the planet has had to do it so why can't you lot?

In the UK we use a mix of imperial and metric.

As for the topic at hand those are some temperatures and I thought it was cold here in Scotland where it is currently 7Celsius.

It being this cold is actually normal. It is the warmer winters in recent years that are abnormal. And there are places in Norrbotten that have minus 40 every winter.
