What's the point of it being wireless just get a long wire
Sony's Dual Sense is doing just fine in terms of Input latency compared to the majority of it's peersOkay but you have to plug it in all the time anyway
Okay but you have to plug it in all the time anywayErgo the Dual Sense V2 that's coming.
If Sony is willing to make a V2 of it's existing controller, what's to stop them from making a V3 that is more "Eco Friendly" and has user mounted replace-able batteries?yeah bro buy two more controllers so you can actually use it without the wire...
yeah bro buy two more controllers so you can actually use it without the wire...Or buy the one with AA batteries that I can recharge in controller or manually swap.

huh??A wireless controller with terrible battery life kinda defeats the point of an untethered controller

I do think the Xboxs external battery design is better than a built-in battery,
that "terrible battery life" is still 4-6 hours.I have Elite controller too. The fact remains that at some point that internal battery means itll be a $180 paperweight, whereas if it had AA batteries I could just put another set of eneloop batteries in it when they wont hold a charge anymore and it would last forever.
I very, very rarely play over 6 hours in one day anymore...
sorry but after the Wii I am done juggling AA batteries for game controllers, rechargeable or otherwise. I made sure to buy an xbox elite controller mainly because it has a built-in battery like my Switch and PS5 controllers.
