millennia
to believe through culture and religion what their
"place"
is... and then in a few short generations that dynamic shifts.
Then imagine there is a billionaire funded media machine working in tandem with churches and political ideologues to maintain that status quo.
There is nothing surprising about this.
Working class people vote against their own interests constantly for the same sort of cultural and media influenced reasons.
