Palworld's advertisement as "pokemon with guns" is far from the truth. It's more like Ark or Rust with pokemon. I loathe those types of games so it was an easy refund after playing two hours on steam.

I've seen many, many more people going "Ooooh yeah Nintendo must be trying to shut this down, Pokemon fans are tilted!" than fans actually being mad. Most Pokemon fans don't seem to care since this game is barely like Pokemon at all outside of the monster capture aspect.

I bought it but I'm waiting for someone to make a no clip mode for the building. It's using all the same things from Ark so it shouldn't take too long.

Been playing the Pokmon series a long time myself and tbh never even heard of this game until now that everyone is mentioning it. And tbh nothing makes me more upset than the Pokmon series itself, Palworld can get in line, I've still got a bone to pick with Pokmon.
My maid will hear about this.
