Then fewer people play the online, which is objectively a poor business decision if you've opted to have them
They're not making them to make people "happy" either way, it's an obligation to potentially augment the game's lasting power with certain people
And in some cases, they're the primary reason people buy/rent the game
They were always a mistake considering none of the platforms prevented cheaters, and there's nothing anyone can do to prove it's always legit either
