It's not so much defeat as it is just stay alive until it runs away.It's mostly this. If you can keep it from hitting anything vulnerable, arteries and the like, while punching it in the nose over and over it will eventually decide you are too much work and go away. Then you can hopefully try and get medical attention for the cuts you have from it's motherfucking knife hands before you bleed out.
