If you're interested in shovelware or the same fifteen games all the other stores keep behind the glass.

The enthusiasts hit different. They usually do have some of the rarer ones in person.
It's true. Frequently there's something I wouldn't have expected. Even if it's just like one or two games. In that sense, I was exaggerating.

But more to the point, I've almost never had any luck trying to find something specific. What prompted this thread was Crystalis. The 'Zon has an NES copy for 40, which... could be worse but I was hoping for better. So I checked the GBC carts and they were like a hundred.
If you have a retro game story you could actually find many older games pretty cheap. Shopping online is pretty much paying a premium.
