It may be worse than Morbius
First review I read labeled it the Show girls of superhero movies.
Also said youll be longing for Morbius after watching this.
Sony just can't win with their Super Hero movies.
Did Kraven even come out?
They should have made a Black Cat movie and star Sydney in that instead.Or put Black Cat in a 4th Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. Or maybe make Amazing Spider-Man 3 and let Andrew Garfield date Black Cat
Did Kraven even come out?Not yet
I mean they were in charge of all the spider-man movies and I'd argue that the Venom movies were good for what they were.
Even the Amazing Spiderman movies were kind of whatever and the Venom movies were fairly mediocre, saved by Tom Hardy's performance. None of the Sony Super Hero movies though are getting rave reviews, except the Sam Raimi's Spiderman films but those were decades ago.oh God

they were also in charge of the holland movies. your opinions notwithstanding.
they were also in charge of the holland movies. your opinions notwithstanding. No they weren't. Marvel Studios was in complete creative control of how those movies were made.
They should have made a Black Cat movie and star Sydney in that instead.I think they STILL couldn't salvage that. It would get to many unfair comparisons to Catwoman, fair or not.
No they weren't. Marvel Studios was in complete creative control of how those movies were made.
Sony owns the rights to spider-man in TV and movies. they were the producers. those were critical and commercial hits. when we talk about Sony and their super-hero movies, those count as successes. That's not the point in contention. We're discussing who was actually "in charge" of the Holland films. That was Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios, not Sony.

the post I replied to said "Sony can't win with their superhero movies", but there are Sony-made superhero movies that have "won". either financially or critically. There is zero doubt that the holland spider-man moves were produced by Sony and they made bank. it does not matter who was in charge creatively, Sony "won".And your post they I responded to said this:
but again, the Venom movies also made bank. are we counting the spider-verse movies as well? the point is sony has had successful super-hero movies, with and without marvel studios.

they produced it, so yes they were in charge. that's usually what a producer's roles is...Not always, it isn't. They specifically were hands off for Holland's films. Fiege had complete creative control. He and Sony's president did an interview about how the collaboration came about. F
It's pretty damn obvious I was talking about the review scores of their recent movies.

no it wasn't...
Well that's a you problem.
this is not a very good argument to make AFTER the fact...
Sony is STILL the producer. also again, moot point as they had successful super-hero movies without marvel studios involvement.Neither of which I contested. The only thing I corrected you on was about Sony being in charge of the Holland films, which is false.
What argument? You sound overly aggressive for no reason.

great, another generic super-hero movie for me to ignore...Seems like generic would be giving it too much credit.
the producer of a movie is in charge of production. Sony is a producer on the movies. They are in charge. you don't contest this yet you are STILL contesting it....i don't get it.You are aware that Sony isn't the only producer listed, right? And that the President of the company DIRECTLY said Feige and Marvel Studios had full creative control. Anything else you're saying is wrong. You're basically saying the President of Sony is lying with zero proof.
