Goddamn that's epic. It was personal with Square and how Nintendo basically said fuck you.

Also, gotta love how these predated the insane political wars we see today, but it was similar in vitriol.

Sega advertised "To be this good takes AGES" at the time, with the letters in AGES turning around to spell SEGA.
So at the CD32 launch, they put that ad outside Sega HQ.
