Strange comparison as I usually think of the Genesis being pitted against the SNES, not the N64. I know N64 easily wins this poll but man I had some fun with my Genesis.

People who say the N64 are high on crack. Genesis and it's not even close.

It works because they're fairly similar in terms of consensus. With SNES beating both.

I did a similar poll here a few months ago, N64 crushed at first, but Genesis came back later and got to somewhere in the 30-40% range.

I was a Sega Boy. N64 had some great party games and solid single player games, but overall I liked the Genesis more.
