You got The Order: 1886 that cheap?
RIP those day 1 buyers. Still reeling off that colossal failure.Does the Sony boards still defend the game?

If this is about Shadow of the Erdtree, itll probably be more like 30 hours if the main game is any indicator, as the new area is supposed to be the size of Limgrave.limgrave is 2 hours at most. 30 minutes on a replay
limgrave is 2 hours at most. 30 minutes on a replayIf you only do the main story maybe. In that case, dont waste your money. The fun is exploring the area.

From Soft is the one game studio I will faithfully give my money to right now
Wait until you see board game prices. As long as you stay off Kickstarter it's not too terrible. I got into the hobby during covid and have had a blast.
FromSoft, Vanillaware, Atlus...that's just about it for me. Every other developer I will pick and choose.Except for Atluss bullshit where you know the complete version is coming in 2 or 3 years, I agree.

Im also pissed at Vanillaware because theres an Xbox version of Unicorn Overlord but not a PC one? Thats just insulting.
Yeah, P5 is the last time I make that mistake. When P6 comes out, I'll just wait for the Reloaded/Golden/Royal edition instead. Otherwise, their games are mostly quality stuff.I have a Switch, but I absolutely refuse to ever, ever buy a third party game on that piece of shit (Monster Hunter Rise being the only exception as a friend wanted to co-op it at launch). I dont have a PS5. I have a PS4, but eh. I dont really want to turn thing on either.
As I said in another topic: Vanillaware is allergic to releasing their games on PC, for some reason. Other Japanese developers--particularly those under Atlus--have discovered that there are hella profits to be made by (correctly) porting a game to PC, but Vanillaware just...doesn't seem to care? I dunno, it's really weird, and I say this as someone who doesn't really game much on PC like my wife does.
I hope for your sake you got a Switch or PS5 so you can enjoy the game. It looks like it's going to be the best TRPG since FFT. No hyperbole there.

I have confirmed with multiple people who have played the demo that Unicorn Overlord plays just fine on the Switch. Do youself a favor and try the demo on it and see for yourself.Id probably buy a PS5 first. Ive been looking for an excuse anyway.
This game is worth breaking that principle of yours, just this once.

Cost shouldn't be weighed against the time to complete a game, but rather the quality and enjoyment.I think time should also be a factor on top of that. Since if it didnt feel like you get enough playtime out of the base game then $30-40 dlc would feel like a rip off afterward.
So TC just made this vague topic so people could rant about their experiences with similar issues, right? That's my take away
elden ring's dlc just had a video drop for it and the claim is that it's the size of limgrave, the first major landmass in the game.
that's not really four hours worth of content but actually lining up with the reality wouldn't be as likely to get replies.
Well there you go~My hangup at this point is that if I buy a PS5 now I guarantee a PS5 Pro will come out this year. At the moment its only rumored, but Ill probably wait the year out for that.
I mean, if you can afford to drop $500 on a new system, go for it, dude.

this. just 1 chance. if don't like it. there's other options in life to spend the money.Im sure Ill like the game just fine. But Im not touching it on a switch. Period. End of.
limgrave is 2 hours at most. 30 minutes on a replayMan if it only took you 2 hours your first playthrough to get through Limgrave then you're playing the game wrong objectively lol
