edit: the only place i've seen so far w/ a footlong that costs over $15 at all is NYC, and that's only the premium 1/2 lb of meat sub (the monster)
everything else is in the neighborhood of $10 or less
even the signature series are still around $10

So I decided to check the prices, since it's been a few years, and if TC was looking at doordash, that might explain the higher price;
From the subway app, my go-to (Chicken Bacon Ranch) is $11.29

($22.11 you do delivery and add in the fees, but we are sticking to pickup for a fair comparison)
