Its an indefinite hospital order based on himself saying he thinks he would be unable to stop himself from hacking again if they let him out. Its not a punitive sentence its a mental health issue. He was not even fit to stand trial for criminal intent so reporting it as sentenced to life is poor journalism IMO.
