from that collection: Blue Velvet, Brazil, and The Princess Bride are great, IMO.

might need to rewatch Dazed & Confused.

haven't seen the others.
Don't you agree, Zach?

As a physical collector, this makes me happy.

Keep on buying!

Blue Velvet and Muholland Drive are my favorite Lynch movies. i've only seen BV once, but it definitely left an impression.

Brazil is one I bought blind, but I've really enjoyed everything I've seen from Gilliam.

PB is one of my favorite movies, I'm looking forward to diving into the extras.

D&C is another one of my favorites, and probably my favorite "coming of age during high school" style movie.

once i saw Best Buy say they were done with physical media, i knew i needed to start buying up stuff i enjoy and want to experience again in 10, 20 or 30 years.

apparently Barnes and Nobles does a 50% off sale for an entire month in the summer, and the Criterion store does a 24h flash sale in Nov and Feb (when I bought these)

I just finished watching all the bonus features on the Freaks box set, love Criterion.
Can you say David Hasselhoff?
If you like Princess Bride, a similar movie that isn't as famous is 2007's Stardust. I still think it took some inspiration from Princess Bride

thanks for the rec! i totally agree, i adore that movie. DeNiro's character was so great and it nails the whole 'fairy tale' vibe perfectly.
