Season 2 has a lot of filler level episodes, and in general seems like the premise is kinda...just sitting there

OPM should have been a one off movie or a 13 episode show

The only thing i care about for this arc is the final battle.. prob not gonna see it till end of season 4 or season 3 part 2.

Unless anime skips a bunch of the side character stuff

Season two was decent; It had its good parts and it had some issues, particularly it was quite a downgrade animation and direction-wise from season 1; but it was probably inevitable because season 1 was super overclocked and iirc they called in a lot of personal favors.

tbh the less forgivable issue was the whole superfight part of the arc was mostly unnecessary and the monster association stuff has so much more to go it ended in a pretty random spot; we really need to get a lot more episodes this upcoming season to not feel like not much happened again.

this right here is the huge problem, no way is 13 episodes enough because there's just been nonstop huge battles and it's not even over... ( in the us manga volume release)

I think a lot of people don't really "get" why Garou is fucking awesome.

Garou made S2 damn good. Not as good as S1, but still damn good television.

Lost all interest after the manga's adaptation of the Garou fight with Saitama webcomic's version was just so much better and impactful

i love opm but season 2 had shitty animation and bad music placement, or not enough cool music, or something.

the writing is good much of the time, but it's nowhere near the sublime heights of the first season and i think that's obvious.

Never read the manga but for me personally, Season 2 felt like they noticed My Hero Academia blowing up and tried its best to replicate it, but with absolutely no heart whatsoever.

Season 2 had some good moments, but was a step down in every way compared to season 1. The odd choices with the animation certainly didn't help. I don't know what they were going for with that metallic texture, but it looked terrible.
