"That's all fake news.". That's all it takes for them. Even if they do believe any of that, they'll still vote for him because even Satan himself is better than a liberal/Democrat.
Conservatives are also fine with their own lives being made worse as long as the people they hate lives are made even worse. They'd let Republicans cut one of their legs off as long as the people they hate get both of theirs cut off.
