Looks promising. "Adaptation" used loosely cuz it seems like a completely different story from the anime/manga

Different characters, different story, different plot and location.

wow i rarely watch any anime but i actually did see parasyte the maxim. it's the same? that's interesting...

For starters, this one is set in Korea not Japan.
Either remake with Korean setting, or a spin off.

Interesting that its a spinoff but so far none of the adaptations really did the manga any justice.
