Hated when I worked bk and according to the training when we put mayo on we should be able to still see the texture of the bread. Like what's the point you ain't gonna taste it if that's the case. Nobody gave a shit though. But people did often not bother with the bottom.bun which we where supposed to put on mayo on too if it was chicken.
