I got 6.6 so I am not far behind you. However I would not trust that site I uploaded Jim Cornet and he beat us with a 6.8 this one .Yeah. I tried out a bunch of pics of myself, my wife, and various exes and it was inconsistent. Generally, most averaged around a 7, but the same person could vary from a 5.5 to 7.5 and I didn't see that big of a difference. There is one pic of one ex where I always thought that pic was especially gorgeous. That was the only one to go over an 8. So tempted to show that pic, but I am guessing that is uncool.

That right there? Fuck guys, I love how I look lately.
Pushups are so great and yet so painful. Just did 45, which seems to be about my exhaustion limit at the moment. Want to get it over 50 soon.I'm getting slightly disillusioned with the gym, and was wondering last night if doing 100 push ups a day would be more beneficial instead.
How about y'all?
I'm getting slightly disillusioned with the gym, and was wondering last night if doing 100 push ups a day would be more beneficial instead. It is certainly beneficial and is a complex exercise that works multiple muscles. But you need to augment it with targeted exercises. Everything works muscles differently.

Do you think isolation exercises are a waste of time? How many compound vs isolation is good per workout?I just said you need both
I just said you need bothAh, that's what you meant. Interesting, so you don't do like bench or squat at the gym at all?
When I go the gym, I do all targeted stuff. Or is isolation the better word? Was that the confusion?
Then I can do stuff like pushups on the in between days. Only takes minutes.
To be fair, I haven't been great about the in between days, but am trying to be better.
Ah, that's what you meant. Interesting, so you don't do like bench or squat at the gym at all?Is bench compound? I mean, I guess it does more than chest, but that seems to be most of it to me.
Is bench compound? I mean, I guess it does more than chest, but that seems to be most of it to me.Yes. The big 5 compound exercises are bench press, squat, deadlift, shoulder press and pull up.
See, I don't really know terminology. I do know from experience that switching up exercises, even ones that use the same muscles, makes me sore in a different way the next day. So clearly switching things up is beneficial to rounding out muscle build all over.
Yes. The big 5 compound exercises are bench press, squat, deadlift, shoulder press and pull up.Interesting but... shoulder press? Why?

Hey Duran! What'dya do?apparently i spoke out too harshly against conservatives in the eyes of a mod in reference to a Fox News propaganda piece someone posted that essentially turned the story about the eclipse into a story about the "flood" of illegal immigrants coming across the border, that nobody is paying attention to because everyone's eyes were in the sky instead of on the ground.

Everything you just wrote from your harsh treatment to the report on fox was ...yeah, whatever though, what are you gonna do
I think the Military Press falls under the umbrella of Shoulder Press exercises. For example, when I do a Shoulder Press, Im usually on a bench and use dumbbells. Thats what youd typically call a Shoulder Press. On the other hand, the Military Press involves standing upright and pressing a barbell overhead. So, while the Military Press is a variant of the Shoulder Press, it doesnt encompass all types of Shoulder Presses. Its similar to how all tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises.interesting. well, whatever you want to call it, what i do is with dumb bells and while standing straight up, and it always makes me feel really great afterward and has led to some noticeable increases in mass in my shoulders and neck. so it works.

Just ran an easy 3.6 miles. Wanted to keep it simple since I also ran yesterday. If I am going to do a half marathon in October, I need to start building my base in a gentle manner to not injure myself. How long does it take to do those 3.6 miles? When i go to the gym, get on my elliptical, and increase the incline i can do 3-4ish miles in less than or around 30 minutes

My guess it that if you go 4 miles, you are well above 30 minutes. Most non experienced runners would take at least 35 minutes, if not 40

I feel 480 is low lol
I wish I could run. I am thinking about getting one of those racing wheelchairs. But I don't know if that would be coolBecause of plantar fasciitis or whatever? Won't that go away with time and/or treatment?

don't know how that even measures miles because it isn't a real movement. That said, it looks like you are going pretty damn fast!Your guess is as good as mine! I'd say it's a casual stroll, a year of this and I still feel like I get winded easily, hate it

I ran a half a mile on saturday night, because the dog wanted to run instead of walk
my shins hurt for 3 days ;_;
Sorry about your shins. Have you talked to doctor about it.
I watch this guy a lot and he is really good. But he uses the C word a lot. I think he is Irish or something so that isn't as heavy for them as it to us here. But this time it is blanked out. So I want you all to see a guy who has helped .good video. this reminds me of a segment i saw on Good Morning America not too long about weight loss and physical fitness where they compared the size of 5 lbs of fat to 5 lbs of muscle, and it is just crazy what a difference it is. muscle is soooo much more dense and compact. the total volume was tiny compared to the total volume of the fat. it really puts things into perspective.
