The very premise of immunity as it comes to the bodies immune system is purely whether or not the body knows how to fight the disease in question and if it does it fights it off faster. Fighting it off faster does not stop it from getting in your system and depending on how fast the body fights it off still varies if a person has a period of which they could be contagious.
