My household played no mercy way more, but that was mainly because it was a specific period of time where there was like 6 of us gamers living under the same roof (myself, my dad, my brother, my two nephews, and my niece) and thus had constant access to 4 of us getting into some wacky local multiplayer hijinks.

I used to play this wrestling game at a friends house on his gamecube and the create a wrestler was so in depth you could make anyone. The best wrestling game ever made

Doesn't feel like a fair question. Back in the day it was No Mercy vs Smackdown 2 cause they were comparable. HCTP was the 5th game in the Smackdown series, 4 years after No Mercy with a lot of QOL improvements in that time.
