The resentful ignorance that fueled Trump was there long before Trump came along to fill the void. Not saying they would have just found another Trump for 2016 if not for him, but they are very much responsible for the shitshow that was his presidency and deserve to face the consequences of being shitty people to the rest of society's interests.

I pity that we let ourselves becomes such fucking tools to the most obvious incompetent, elitist, dirty old man we could feasibly (whatever that means even more because the bar keeps getting lower) elect.
