they're reasonable about it at least and only seem to practice during the day. i was just annoyed because i was trying to meditate during lunch and had to put on noise canceling headphones .

There are lots of great ekit options, but they do cost more. Alesis Nitro, Yamaha, Roland, etc. And def take lessons!

You can get pads that help muffle the sound when practicing, but it changes the feel.
It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present, and a waste to live in the future.

I had someone who lived in the neighborhood who played the drums.

they lived far enough away that I didn't know which street they lived on, but it was still annoying when they practiced, lol.

But ya, my neighbor kitty corner to me is some kinda of woodworker. They are always home and they don't seem to realize they have a backyard for their kids.
