Damn this episode hit hard. Morph is becoming my favorite in this series. Can't wait to see Cable make his return as well. As of now, X-Men 97 is my best show of 2024, unless they REALLY shit the bed on the later episodes.

Kinda a miss for me. I felt the whole goblin queen came out of nowhere and all of a sudden than gets warped up just as quickly.

Yeah, this episode and the first were super rushed. Should have at least been two parters.

I might be misremembering, but didn't Morph die, and/or become a traitor in the 90s series? Something like that. Breakdown maybe?

Anyway, I was surprised he was in this.

Both he got better. He was left for dead, sinister found him and brainwashed him, they freed him after.

Ah OK. Thanks for that.

It's just a dim memory for me, and I don't even know if they broadcast all the episodes in the UK. They used to be very bad with stuff like that, often showing things in the wrong order or skipping them altogether.

It's a genuinely excellent show for reasons outside of nostalgia. It might be the best animated show from Marvel in a very long time

Yes I remember that! They did the whole Space Empire ark than did the episode about the escaped space energy alien. I remember wondering why they where all surprised by aliens when they had all been to an alien spaceship before.

Magik is one of my favorites on the X-Men, hyped she got a cameo, even though it was really Morph.

As for best show of 2024, Frieren and Shogun by far for me.

I'm glad Forge is going to help Storm get her powers back , but I was under the impression she met Forge already (back in the original run, when the X-Men raided X-Factor's compound ).
If you're not smart enough to survive, you are basically just food for something smarter.
