I like 8/8. It's closer to the 20th century MLB, before the Central was added

AL East + Cleveland + Detroit + Chicago White Sox
AL West + Minnesota + Kansas City + expansion

NL East + Pittsburgh + Cincinnati + expansion
NL West + Chicago Cubs + St. Louis + Milwaukee

Get rid of the Central divisions in both leagues
Some guys have all the luck, Some guys have all the pain
Some guys get all the breaks, Some guys do nothing but complain

I'd rather see four Divisions of 8, but the map is set up rather well to get eight 4s.

They really need to keep as many teams in the same time zones as possible, which will need either eight divisions, or radical realignment. But that's not a big deal after the National League died.
