Doom, Duke Nukem, Half Life (unless you count Portal). Probably heaps more but they were the first (aside from TC's example which also holds true for me) to come to mind.

Close mentions for Zelda, Assassin's Creed and Elder Scrolls, which I've played only very briefly and didn't see much appeal in.

Call of Duty.

I rarely rarely play first person anything, let alone a shooter. And I dislike military games. So this thing has a lot going for it I dont like.

Silent Hill (seen videons on YT tho)
Dragon Quest
Quake
Animal Crossing
Metriod (never played any)
F-Zero (never played any of them)
tons and tons of other games I don't wanna list. Basically any new series by Square-Enix or any other big RPG maker since the year 2005. Xenosaga, etc.

I mean honestly, it is a huge list.

"Funny" true story: I got a DSi with two Pokemon games, Platinum and Soul Silver. My relative lost their copy of Platinum and I figured that I didn't need both, so, I gave them that and I kept Soul Silver. When I went to play Soul Silver, the DSi said it couldn't read the game card (corrupt; it read Platinum's game card, fine... *shrug*).
