Ukraine War Topic Reborn Part 1

I think in this case the only thing you can do is to not let them win. You let them take Ukraine and get stronger and then in another decade or so they start moving in on the other former Soviet nations the same way. They won't stop. And everytime they end up in a better position to act on their threats.

You can't negotiate with them either because anyone who makes peace with them or surrenders after initially challenging them ends up dead somehow.

There's no other option to exhaust other than to totally fucking defeat them.

A decade is extremely optimistic. In this video, RLL lays out a much shorter timeline, if Trump wins this November:

  • Trump immediately ceases all aid to Ukraine and even worse, ends all the economic sanctions holding back their production. He also possibly throws wrenches into other efforts
  • Ukraine, facing an infinite number of hired bodies from poor countries around Russia (which they're already doing), has no choice but to accept a sham peace agreement that gives up their entire coastline, restricts their military to a paltry size, and inserts a puppet leader
  • A few years later (by 2027 or sooner), Russia moves to annex Moldova and (if Ukraine resists) the rest of Ukraine. Then conquers majority Russian towns along its border in the Baltic states, to test NATO's willingness to enact Article 5 "just to save a few towns", and w/ the Trump-led US emphatically doing nothing (Trump can technically meet the requirements of A5 by just sending them some helmets and med kits)
  • China, which due to aging population will be on the decline after 2027 and thus eager to act, will attack Taiwan in concert w/ Russia invading all of the Baltic states, to further split NATO's attention
That's the basic outline we're looking at if we don't stand up to Russia now and if we let Putin's favorite sock puppet back into office.
