What would you estimate the split is on the vote, if you can?It is extremely unclear at this point because the 3 Government parties and their support party have 176 MPs. The four opposition parties have 173 MPs.
Like 51%-49% types of close, or wider?
Doesn't sound ideal. The SocDem leadership support the bill but the party group is also divided just like the Conservatives. Since the SocDems are in opposition it is possible that the MPs will be given the choice to vote as they please though. The bill could get enough votes to pass with that. If SocDems whip their party into line then the bill will pass for sure. If the Prime-minister also get his party in line then it will pass with an overwhelming majority but yeah, too many unknown variables currently.
in sweden the democrats are far right instead of the "radical left""the democrats"
gender-coded social security number
in sweden the democrats are far right instead of the "radical left"The US Democrats would be Center-Right. The Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) is a far right party founded in 1988 by a Swede who moved to Germany during WW2 and became an SS officer.

I love how the opposition to the bill are mostly using budget arguments instead of the real reason.Especially that it is Right-wing opposition to the bill who say that. The Left-wing opposition is using more TERS-ish language.
TERS? Is that a type of TERF?Ops, yeah, TERF.
