Is there any CEman who deals with postage regularly who can help me out? It just occured to me that the mailing date on the shipping label will be today, but I dropped it off in the collection box after closing, so it won't actually be seen by staff til Monday, right? Does that mean I should've made the shipping date on the label for Monday?

Your mistake was using USPS

You might as well have thrown your package in a trash compactor before sending it.

Yeah, this won't matter. Your package package will be fine. USPS is good for the most part in my area, so I wouldn't worry about using them as well.

No you wont have any issue. USPS doesnt carry about the date as much as they did some years ago.

If you're talking about something like ebay I never adjust the date when I print the label. Usually take it the next day but sometimes the ship date when printing is the same day.
This is where cool people write stuff.
