I live in the path of totality and unfortunately am on the other side of the world on vacation. I will never see a total solar eclipse :(

I live less than an hour away from the path of the total eclipse (99.5% here), but I was asked to work today and wouldn't have been able to travel to see it even if I'd wanted to. I got over two days' worth of bonus pay out of it, though, so I'm not complaining; I'd be too afraid of damaging my eyes to look at it, anyway.

Vermont 100% Witnessed with a bunch of coworkers in the Chilis parking lot. Boss bought us pizza and we played songs like Total Eclipse of the Heart and Black Hole Sun. Fun times were had.
Probably the only Mario Maker 2 level I'll ever create worth sharing.

About 90%. It was clear out and I was outside for about 30 minutes before and after the maximum. Everything was still visible, but it was noticeably darker and the lighting was off. The best way to describe it would be a video game with poor lighting techniques. It also got colder and the animals noises were like it was dusk or dawn.
