Why her and not that herpes laden dinosaur Thomas?Obviously because he doesn't want to and as much as we want him to be gone forever he's probably doesn't want to do that
Why her and not that herpes laden dinosaur Thomas?Because he has no interest in helping Democrats out, and Sotomayor presumably does.
Why her and not that herpes laden dinosaur Thomas?
I don't think you should pressure a good justice to retire while they can potentially carry out 10+ more years of service. You could get those same ten years out of a liberal replacement. Are her dissents really that much better than any possible replacement?
She should've done it earlier because now republicans would invoke the made-up "no appointments during an election year" rule.Republicans do not have the power to do that.

Serious question: if she did retire, how likely would the current US senate (which includes 'Democrats' like Joe Manchin) be to confirm someone as liberal as Sotomayor? They confirmed Brown Jackson of course, but is she comparable to Sotomayor or is she only liberal compared to the likes of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh?
I mean she's not even really that oldShe travels with a medic
She travels with a medicI'd be shocked if all of them didn't do that
I think Sinema may go against the democrats as a final f*** you.
Republicans do not have the power to do that.
That's only a thing if you have powerThey'll find a way. The rat bastards will crawl through every muddy crevice to find a way. They always do.

Sen. Joe Manchin, a critical swing vote in the closely divided Senate, said Wednesday that from now on, he will only vote to confirm nominees who have the support of at least one Republican senator.
Im going to be very honest with everybody, if my Democratic colleagues and friends cant get one Republican vote, dont count on me. You cant make it bipartisan, dont count on me, said the West Virginia Democrat who has announced his retirement that will begin in January 2025.
Democrats currently control the presidency and senateNope.
Manchin would fuck it up
