I think it's a reminder of why the Israel/Hamas war started... October 7th 2023. Of course, that doesn't justify the extent of the bombing (towards civilians, hospitals, children, the elderly)

Hamas actively disrupts the Israel/Palestinian Authority negotiations, and has shifted towards anti-Semitic language in the past 20 years.

It could be considered a genocide, I'm not taking Israel's side, but the hostages are still victims

The idea that there are hostages so your best course of action is to completely level cities and neighborhoods is weird to me.

"Sir we have bank robbers holding 25 people hostage inside the bank"
"Destroy the bank"
"But sir!"
"Fucking do it"
