have you ever seen a fundraiser have a 'minimum amount'?

a friend of mine sent out an email asking us to donate to his kid's baseball team. they're doing a fundraiser for equipment, travel costs, etc. i went to give $10 and it literally refused my money because the 'minimum donation' amount is $20. i've given money lots of times and never seen this before. i am tempted to refuse a donation on principle.

I would assume there have been some sorts of fundraising that had restrictions like that because of fees that may be associated with whatever platform they were using to collect donations, but seems to me that $10 should be above that threshold.
