I don't think Assassin's Creed games are good, but I still like to play them.

I mean, Ubisoft is just a straight up horrible company and makes bland open world games. But when the AC games are like $5-$9 on steam/psn, I usually grab them and they give me a decent amount of entertainment.

Do you have any games or series that you still like to play even though they're not that good?

Skyrim, mostly for modding though.
Constant isolation and distress.
Tons. And I like to replay them because of memories maybe.

For ACs, it's about completion compulsivity.

I know, playing them, that I'm usually playing a copy of the previous title, but I'm doing it anyway to conquer those gigantic maps.

Black Flag was a masterpiece for me though. Now that one felt different.
On va les avoir.
Honestly me too. I'll wait until the new one drops to maybe $20. $15 or less is ideal, but I'd be willing to part with $20 if I run out of games to play.
My favorite part is definitely the environments. I never played origins and it was like 8 bucks and honestly, to me that's worth it to be able to run around a recreated ancient Egypt alone. I'm playing it for the first time today (and probably taking it to bar trivia on my steamdeck).

I guess Bethesda games kinda count too
