Its crazy how a grownup can miss the entire point of an episode in a childrens show
Nah, hes right (sort of). Id be pissed if I was preparing for a move to a different city and my kid watched this. I dont think its anything wrong with the episode though. Just unfortunate if it gets your kids hopes up that they dont have to move.

No, hes not right. Its a show with a story, and Bluey is actually accepting of moving by the end of it, but it doesnt work out because Chili didnt truly want to move either, and bandit clearly wasnt anywhere close to 100% on moving. They moved, it was over, until the dogs who couldnt see changed their minds. It was a sweet ending. They didnt decide not to move because Bluey cried and got her way, thats not what happened.

man people keep talking about bluey is it actually good does anyone have the inside scoop
Its good for a kids show. Like I would never watch it if I didnt have kids but I gotta admit that it hits a balance Ive never seen before where its super wholesome but still has conflict and never feels like its pandering or cringy. It scratches an itch I didnt know I had.

And then the father on top of not getting a higher paying job lost a shit ton of money when the buyers backed out at the last second. I'd be extra pissed about that. Lol.

There's a cooling off period for buyers in Australia so when it comes to that they wouldn't have been punished financially.

We didn't know where the Bluey family was driving off to. For all we know they were staying with family during the interim and they weren't immediately moving to the new city. It doesn't really matter. It'll work out. The theme of the episode.

The funny thing about the "they shouldn't get the kids hopes up about not moving!" is that Bluey goes through that exact thing earlier in the episode when she misunderstands the point of the story she was told in daycare.

Yeah in the US if you get to the point where you're about to sign documents and the buyer backs out you've already spent a lot. I mean so did the buyer but you're screwed eithwr way

the better lesson would be them moving and kids understanding that moving on is a part of life.

Moving isn't a part of life for every kid.

For the long term viability of the show it had to remain in Brisbane. They're not going to start from scratch with all of the side characters and locales. It's also where the creators of the show live.

Also we already know they stay in Brisbane throughout school due to a previous episode lol

if the episode is meant to be finale it shouldn't have mattered that it needed to keep the status quo

It's not the finale. There's a new one in a few days.
