I mean, you can still discuss controversial topics so long as you don't become an ass about it or espouse hateful rhetoric.

Discussing topics wasnt the problem. It was the constant slapfightng/dogpiling that came from it.

Define "controversial topics". Like, are we talking along the lines of a "Did the Star Wars prequels suck?" kind of controversy that doesn't affect a whole lot, or a "Do trans people deserve to be treated like people" kind of controversy that has an impact on whether innocent people who did nothing to hurt anyone else and are just trying to live their lives are able to live or are doomed to die?

Im baffled as to why hornyposting was axed. Just about every other topic devolved into several users posting chud and account details.

Fandom is a terrible company and their web sights are ad infested to the point of being useless and banning politics is a coward move.

I mean, I was avoiding the very hot topics lately anyway.

Especially because there is nothing people could say to convince anyone anyways, so every argument was useless from the beginning.

Yet they were quite nice to get some news shared.

I don't post anything controversial like ever or at least I didn't think I ever did ive only been modded a few times and worse case warned but never anything higher
