Did anyone here also gain weight due to medication?

I mean I could work out more but I was really skinny until this happened. Its like I dont feel fat on the inside but I got a gut

I gained like 20 pounds do to medication. You can bring this up with your doctor and see if he or she could give you something else.

I took seroquel for a while and it was supposed to make me gain weight but I lost 20 pounds instead. Mainly took it because I couldn't sleep due to night terrors, but it was awful otherwise.

I gained weight on lexapro. I stopped taking it about 5 months ago and have lost like 20 pounds

A good friend of mine I have known for like 25 years was always super in shape. She had what everyone would describe as almost the perfect body.

Her thyroid went to shit here a couple years ago and though she is on medication for it, the medication itself along with her thyroid not working right has caused her to have a significant weight gain.

I have seen it happen in multiple actresses too over the years as I'm a tv junkie. Kristen Johnson who was on 3rd Rock from the sun and more recently on Mom gained quite a bit of weight from her Lupus medication.

Christina Applegate has gained a chunk of weight due to inactivity and medication from her MS diagnosis and it impacting her being able to be active.

There are quire a few examples really.

I myself am also in this category. I have a medical issue that really impacts my digestion so I have to take medication 4 times daily to be able to properly digest food. The problem is it really pushes the food through my system so I'm often very very hungry all the time and it is hard to control my snacking. It's caused me to gain weight.

Gained almost 30lbs from Seroquel. Dropped off so fast once I got taken off it.
