Dallas is similar to the Knights in that they can run 4 lines really well. They are DEEP and have no glaring holes in their game.

Oilers have had a hard time running 4 lines. They finally got some production in games 6 and 7 against the Canucks but... if Dallas can limit the damage Draisitl and McDavid do, their 3rd and 4th lines are significantly better than the Oilers.

For all intents and purposes Dallas pretty much completely shut down Colorado and Colorado is deeper than the Oilers are.

I think Edmonton's only hope of winning this series is either Skinner suddenly becoming the second coming of Hasek or Oettinger having a complete meltdown out of nowhere.

Edmonton Oilers currently have 23 Canadian born players roughly, for anyone that cares. Highest amount of the remaining teams. I've never paid attention or been concerned with the nationality of the cup champions personally.

Cognitive functions can go down. I just got sucked into OT because I love the sport so much, I am watching it on a crappy CBC feed though I really am not rooting for either team.

I can watch it on TNT or w/e but I like the feel of CBC.

They basically sold a second-round pick to acquire a higher first and a higher second.

They still have their own first (2nd) and their own second (34th).

They're 100% gonna make another draft-day trade to move up even more.

E: Also if you're the Islanders you have no reason to turn this down, especially without a third-round pick. The team is aging and they have shit fuck all for prospects.
