The site will stick around a good long time I'm sure but the boards dying off will probably happen sooner. Maybe they stick around archived maybe Fandom just gets rid of them I can't say

This board will go the way of 261, and all non gaming boards will follow. Gfaqs got rid of the politics board for a reason, but it didnt stop the discussion, people just moved here instead. So this board will go, and the next one, and the one after that, because people in general have a hard time being civil towards one another when discussing those topics.

I think the gaming boards will survive for a while though, which is good.
