Played the first game recently and really wanted to get into it, but it's just so dated. Had the same experience when I went back to re-play Baldur's Gate last year. Those games were fine, if not great, for the time - but they have not aged well. I'd even add Morrowind to this, as a proper 3D game example of something that just feels super dated now.
