When I worked their, admittedly a long time ago, the dough was made there. They may freeze the dough balls to use the next day, but it wasn't premade or prerolled.

Yes. The dough is frozen and prepped for use for the next day. Prepping involves putting the pre-made dough in oiled pans and storing them in the walk-in freezer.

Hey now.
In college I worked at a gas station that mixed the dough in store for the pizza. Seems bizarre a full on pizza place wouldn't bother to. It's literally just a bag of powder mixed with water, wouldn't it be easier to ship bags of powder than frozen dough balls?
