I try not to judge people's sexuality off of stuff like that, however I'd wager it's more because she's musclar and there's been a recent trend of right-wingers shitting on muscular women for "trying/wanting to look like men" and often in many lesbian relationships there is one partner depicted as the big/muscular "butch" type. That's why I think they specified she's a hetero.
