idk if it counts, since they were trying to kill immortals, but The Vampire Diaries/The Originals.

Gulliver's Travels
Doesn't take a lot of brains to be a good fighter.
Technically I think Groundhog Day counts for this, no? He spends at least part of the movie trying to cure his own seeming immortality.

No, I'd say the ones in 1 were pretty fine with the arrangement

1 is the only one where maybe it doesn't count, yes

MASSIVE spoilers below, do not reveal if you don't want them:

XC1: Didn't "seek" a cure, but Meyneth, after living thru and being at least complicit (thru inaction) in Zanza destroying and recreating multiple civilizations, was pretty content to die. Again, I admit it's the one game where it maybe doesn't apply.

XCX: Lao is disgusted with the "Mims" (which since they're basically a mind upload to a machine effectively can be immortal) and how they're not even really human anymore and thinks humanity should've died out when Earth was destroyed.

XC2: Pyra/Mythra outright says she wanted to go to the World Tree and meet the Architect to ask him to die.

XC3: The entire mission of the City is to break the endless cycle of death and rebirth (a form of immortality) imposed by the Consuls so people can just grow old and die like mortals. Also even before that, the ultimate goal of Kevesi and Agnians was to make it to "graduation" and survive 10 years, which turns out to remove them from the cycle and thus perma-death. So literally the entire game is one form or another of wanting mortality.

So yeah, I think just saying the series as a whole is an example is pretty fair...
The Ronan legend of the Sibyl at Cumae.

She got immortality from Apollo, but forgot to ask for eternal youth.

Does Groundhog Day count?

It's not a war crime the first time.
oh yea, New Amsterdam (the series from 2008).

it was about a dude who was cursed with immortality, and the only way he could cure it was by finding his true love.

it starred the dude who played Jaime Lannister, and only lasted for a season.

Made in Abyss has a character whose original goal is to euthanize their friend who was transformed into a barely sentient, endlessly regenerating blob of flesh. The fear being that if they die, animals are going to find their friend and use her as a food source for eternity.
