Have you like, only ever seen the movies or something? Sonic has been churning out total stinkers like every other game for two decades now, and I say that as someone who has consumed more of the franchise than probably like 95% of this board. Sonic 06? Rise of Lyric? Sonic Forces? Countless arcs from the 90s and early 2000s in the Archie comics?
I swear every time something new comes out that isn't perfect people forget all the terrible shit that came before and dive headlong into hyperbole.
