Stay safe. That shit freaked me out when I lived in Kansas and was visiting Iowa.

Confirmed touchdown. Apparently a "multi vortices" storm. Still a fair bit away from me, but watching the live camera footage is scary.

We have already had 15 tornadoes earlier this month. It's just a normal thing really for me being in Iowa to expect this type of weather from Spring until the end of Summer.

That shit passed within a couple miles of my neighborhood (Bennington, just north Omaha). I wasn't home for it but my roommate saw the funnel from the back door. We got incredibly lucky, no damage in our neighborhood but a bunch of houses just north of us were destroyed.
Only two things can end a Republican's career - a dead girl or a live boy.

Nebraska and Iowa got a shitload of tornadoes yesterday. There were places where a tornado would go through, and then an hour later a second one would hit the same spot.

As far as the west side of the Missouri River, no deaths reported as of this morning. Not sure about Iowa.

I guess we wait for a potential round 2 today.
